Team Ancora is raising money for The Great Figgy Pudding Caroling Competition 2016.

Thank you for helping Ancora raise money for the vulnerable people in our community.  We have participated in Figgy Pudding for many years, and of course the caroling event itself is fun--but the real point is to ensure that the PMSC and Food Bank can continue to do their important work.  As the carol goes,
 
"Christmas is coming!
The goose is getting fat.
Please put a penny
in the old man's hat.
If you haven't got a penny,
then a ha'penny will do.
If you haven't got a ha'penny,
then God bless you!"
 
Give what you can, join us for fun outdoor singing, and stay warm.  This winter, love and community are more important than ever.
 
Ancora will be eligible for the Best Choral award if we raise at least $1000, so if we make it on stage, cheer as loud as possible!  I think cheering sways the judges...

 

 

 

 


Figgy Pudding celebrates the holiday season by filling the Downtown Seattle streets with caroling teams Singing Carols for a Cause - raising $$$ for the Pike Market Senior Center & Food Bank. The Pike Market Food Bank helps residents of downtown Seattle supplement food security with free groceries. We serve people of all ages and work hard to offer a variety of nutritious foods in a friendly environment. The Pike Market Senior Center offers nutritious meals, social and fitness activities, employment and financial counseling, and access to social workers for people age 55 and older. All services offered at PMSC are provided free of charge and are designed to promote healthy aging and stability for older adults.
